Twitter and #writingcommunity has been a marvellous distraction for me.
Coding by Candlelight was supposed to be finished and published two days back. But then I discovered Twitter.
So I was delayed writing the big climactic sex scene in the story by a couple of days with all the interruptions and stuff.
Which meant two days of randiness, because what my characters were doing together was constantly on my mind. I’d go away for a bit to do something else, come back to the writing, read the scene to get back into speed and be in the heads – and active bodies – of my characters
Plus, this scene was written from the female view. Erin, one of the two main female characters, as opposed to Clooney, the supposed protagonist. That always helps.
That’s two days of being a little bit moist in my undies. I wish I had lovers like the ones I write about. I mean, I do now and then, but not six earth-shattering times in a weekend…
The main writing is finished. Just adding in a few bits of plot to tie the sex romps together. Nobody will ever read them, I guess, but I need a plot and character development, goddammit.
In other news, I now have 285 followers. On Twitter, not my blog.
