Take me to heaven

No distractions today! I’m supposed to be publishing.

But. My thoughts have been turned on to far places and the romance of travel.

A lovely young man on Twitter sent my memory off along Route 66, scene to many happy adventures over the years. I may begin work on a new erotica short set along the Mother Road, and I think that I could easily write a book full.

I’ve thought of a title already, and that’s half the work done, yeah?

I could link them into a theme, I could swing two ways: a lady hitch-hiker making her way from Chicago to Santa Monica having all sorts of interesting encounters with interesting people along the way.

Or a young man in (say) a classic Corvette, setting off from Santa Monica to Chicago, and maybe having adventures along the way.

Which root to take?

Britni Pepper has always enjoyed telling stories. About people, places and pleasures. Her schoolmates loved listening to her stories about princesses and pirates and dragons, and once she looked up to find the principal looking on. "No, no, don't stop, Britni," he said. "I want to hear what happens next!" What happened next was university, a job in the travel industry, and a career of travelling the world meeting the most fascinating people. Britni has travelled to thirty of the world's nations and loves making up stories about fascinating people doing interesting things in exotic places. No longer tales about princes and wizards, but her stories are just as much fantasy as ever.
